Course Overview

This course provides foundational training in commercial electrical estimating practices, with emphasis on industry-relevant methods, materials, and workflows. Designed for new estimators, transitioning field personnel, and technical professionals, the course introduces participants to the full estimating lifecycle—from drawing interpretation through detailed quantity takeoffs to bid preparation.

Through structured modules, participants will learn how to evaluate electrical construction drawings, perform detailed material and labor takeoffs, and develop pricing models using standard estimating tools and unit-based methodologies aligned with NECA, CSI Division 26, and current construction practices.
